Specialist Nurse (Continence) Band 6
Part time 26.67 hours (over 4 days)
Salary Scale: £41,608 - £50,702 per annum pro rata
An exciting but rare opportunity has become available for an individual to be part of a small, highly skilled specialist nursing team delivering continence promotion and care throughout Tayside.
Due to revision of hours and re-organisation within the Continence Advisory and Treatment Service team we are seeking to appoint an experienced nurse with the skills and passion to deliver patient centred continence care predominantly in the Angus area.
You will work within a multi disciplinary team who value patient involvement in the delivery of their safe and effective high quality care within nurse led clinics.
You should be committed to providing high standards of nursing care with the minimum of supervision, making objective decisions on the assessment and treatment options available for each individual patient.
The role will involve the opportunity to influence and develop nursing practice within the Tayside Continence and Advisory and Treatment Service. Excellent communication skills are necessary in order to act as a resource/ educator for staff, patients and carers.
Applicants should have extensive experience of continence promotion and a proven ability to utilise effective leadership skills to influence change.
The post is based in Angus but will require Tayside wide travel.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register and be able to demonstrate evidence of post registration experience.
