We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly as they enter the shop and provide assistance as needed.
* Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment, ensuring that products are well-displayed and stocked.
* Assist customers with inquiries, providing information about products and services.
* Process transactions accurately using the till system.
* Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Participate in inventory management, including stock checks and restocking shelves.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the shop.
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is highly desirable (bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
* Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage but not essential.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a passion for helping others.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.
