Legal Administrator – Residential Property – Newcastle | Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Working Available
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Legal Administrator to join a busy and successful Residential Property team based in Newcastle. This is a varied and fast‑paced role supporting fee earners within the Investment Property team, providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support across a range of residential property matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Opening and closing files using the practice management system
* Carrying out ID checks, AML searches, media checks and conflict searches
* Preparing legal documentation including leases, contracts and epitomes of title
* Producing invoices, completion statements, paying‑in slips and payment requisitions
* Liaising with clients and other law firms professionally and efficiently
* Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
About You
* Previous experience working as a Legal Administrator or Legal Secretary within Residential Property or a similar legal environment
* Experience using case management systems
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and databases
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
* Ability to prioritise workload effectively in a busy environment
