Revit / CAD Technicians - Established Landscape Practice - Belfast - £25-32k+ DoE
Your new company
HAYS Architecture & Design NI are excited to be working exclusively with a renowned Landscape Architecture specialist, in their search for CAD / Revit Technicians to join their Belfast Studio. It's an exciting time in their evolution as a business, having gathered an enviable reputation for expertise over 20 years, and with offices in Dublin, London and Belfast - their workload pipeline is robust and growing. As such, they need technically competent technicians to help them thrive and deliver. With a predominantly public-sector project base, they offer security, progression and stability. This should appeal to those working either within Architectural practice or the wider construction industry, who are looking for a career transition that builds upon the experience they have, whilst at the same time offering an engaging and compelling direction in which to build their career.
It should be noted that whilst experience within / on Landscape aspects would be desirable, it certainly isn't essential, with full training and support on offer.
Your new role
As the studio's technical expert, you'll be expected to complete working drawings, specifications and translate external drawings from Architects / Consultants to integrated BIM / Revit models. Working alongside one of the Landscape Architects, you'll ensure design packages and associated documentation are aligned with project/client briefs and finished within a deadline. You'll be expected to create clash-free models, liaising with other associated parties and colleagues in collaborating to ensure the right results. You will be expected to work autonomously at times, and as part of a wider team at others. You'll use your knowledge of building regulations / planning processes to maintain compliance at all times.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have a construction related degree / HNC (Ie Architecture / Architectural Technology / Construction, Engineering & Management / Civil Engineering or equivalent) with 1+ years working experience within a consultancy or drawing office environment. Due to the nature of the position, software proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit Packages (or both) would be desirable.
What you'll get in return
A full-time position with an established consultancy, with compelling projects and an ever-growing workload. They have an attractive office space in a vibrant part of Belfast, and as well as a competitive salary - for the right person, their wider package also includes flexible working hours, WFH policy, staff pension, private medical insurance and discounted gym membership & wellbeing app membership. This could be the position that you've been waiting for, and with interest expected to be high - apply early to avoid disappointment.
