Withington Girls’ School, The Sunday Times’ North-West Independent School of the Decade 2021, is looking for a well-qualified, experienced Teacher of Religious Studies to join this happy and outstandingly successful independent day school for girls. This is a fixed term, part time role (0.8) that may be spread across 5 days. Location: Greater Manchester, Withington Girls' School.
Role Details
The role of Teacher of Religious Studies (Maternity Cover) is available from January 2026 and is expected to end August 2026.

Your responsibilities / What you can offer us
* A capable and highly enthusiastic teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Studies.
* The ability to teach Religious Studies to highly able pupils across KS3, GCSE level, and A Level.
* The willingness and ability to use a variety of teaching methods to suit pupils’ individual learning needs, selecting appropriate learning resources and embracing the use of new technology.
* Commitment to contribute to extra-curricular events and activities in the department.
* The ability to work well both independently and as a member of our team.
