Topographical Surveyor Job Overview
* Carrying out high‑accuracy topographical surveys using total stations, GPS, and 3D laser scanning
* Processing survey data and producing high‑quality CAD drawings to company and client standards
* Working on a wide variety of projects, including highways, land development, infrastructure, and construction
* Liaising with clients and site teams to ensure work is delivered accurately and to deadlinesMaintaining and calibrating survey equipment and adhering to best practices and health & safety standards
* Supporting junior surveyors and collaborating with multi‑disciplinary teams as required
Topographical Surveyor Job Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in topographical surveying
* Strong practical and technical knowledge of surveying methods and equipment
* Proficient in the use of total stations, GNSS/GPS systems, and data processing software
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant packages
* A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
* Full UK driving licence
