Qualifications & Experience Essential • 3 year’s experience in design, drafting and/or construction working in a drawing office • Knowledge of current 2D and 3D tools: AutoCAD, Civil 3D • Knowledge of orthographic projection, plans, sections, elevations & details • Knowledge of drawing revision/issuing control and procedures • Be able to interpret sketches from engineers to produce working drawings/models • Accuracy, tenacity, diplomacy, results-oriented and a team player • good presentation skills. • good communication/interpersonal skills • good English language skills – oral and written • Discretion – able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information Desirable • Understanding of Contract Management, particularly NEC • Experience of developing technical solutions, with design decisions validated through design interface. • Membership of a Professional Institute leading to Chartered Status is an advantage
