Walker Group provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centres of excellence located in the UK and Poland. We are seeking an NDT Inspector to join our Assembly team based at our Glasgow facility.
As NDT Inspector you will carry out non-destructive testing activities to ensure quality, integrity, and safety of materials and components.
NDT Inspector Key Responsibilities:
* Perform inspections using approved NDT methods
* Interpret and evaluate results against established codes, standards, and specifications
* Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain detailed records of findings
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and customer requirements
* Support continuous improvement and contribute to maintaining a strong safety and quality culture
* Liaise with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
* Maintain calibration and care of NDT equipment
NDT Inspector Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Must hold a current level 2 NDT certification preferably aligned with aerospace standards NAS410 / EN4179
* Proven experience in an NDT inspection role within aerospace manufacturing or similar high precision industries
* Good understanding of industry codes and standards
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and reporting skills
