Job Description
* Job Title:EMC Technician
* Location: Manchester
* Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
* Salary:Competitive
* This position will start in September 2025
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated EMC Technician to join our team in Manchester. This is a hands-on, full-time, onsite position ideal for someone with a background in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and a passion for precision and problem-solving in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up Equipment Under Test (EUT), associated test cables, and perform tests according to established procedures and standards.
* Operate EMC test equipment as outlined in the EMC test plan.
* Maintain accurate test logs, notebooks, and documentation including data sheets and checklists.
* Assemble and disassemble test setups efficiently.
* Monitor and ensure the calibration status of all testing equipment.
* Complete and manage all required EMC test documentation.
Experience
* Experience in EMC testing or a similar technical role preferred.
* Proven ability to interpret and follow test procedures and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Diploma or BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Proficient in MS Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Practical, hands-on experience in a lab or testing environment.
* Problem-solver with sound judgment and a flexible mindset.
