Electrical Project Engineer – Maidenhead
We are looking for a talented and motivated Electrical Project Engineer to join our Building Services design team in our Maidenhead office.
Role Summary
Provide detailed building services designs for projects in the UK and overseas, working flexibly with a minimum of 3 days a week on site.
Responsibilities
* Undertake outline and detailed designs and specifications for electrical works.
* Provide day‑to‑day technical input as part of a team of engineers and technicians.
* Ensure design output is completed in accordance with the agreed scope, timescales and budgets.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues from other disciplines to deliver project requirements and added value to the client.
* Attend design and site meetings.
Qualifications and Skills
* A degree in Building Services Engineering (or equivalent) and chartered status, or a commitment to achieve chartered status with a relevant professional institution.
* Good working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Clash Detection and Amtech.
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role with strong project‑management skills.
* Ability to manage a variety of projects meeting varying deadlines.
* Strong problem‑solving skills, working alongside architects and contractors to consider problems and devise innovative solutions.
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of the UK construction market.
