About the Position

The Meadows School (Sandwell) (SIPS) is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager with daily site operations. The role involves ensuring security, appearance and surrounding areas meet the required standards, while maintaining a positive and professional environment for staff and students.


Responsibilities

* Provide effective site management support to the school team.
* Ensure security and general appearance of the school premises and grounds meet required standards.
* Oversee the improvement, general maintenance and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds.
* Repair and maintain the school premises and grounds as needed.
* Maintain compliance with Health and Safety and other regulatory requirements through routine and scheduled maintenance.
* Use ICT systems and Microsoft Office software for reporting and communications.


Qualifications & Skills

* Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
* Dedicated, hardworking and responsible.
* Flexible, reliable and a positive team player.
* Professional communication skills, able to relate well with staff and students.
* Proficient with ICT systems and Microsoft Office.


Essential Requirements

* Fluency in spoken and written English.
* Requirement to undertake all relevant safeguarding checks and an enhanced DBS check.


Hours & Salary

37 hours per week (shift pattern to be confirmed). Grade D, SCP 9 to 17: £27,254–£31,022 p.a.

The Meadows School, Dudley Road East, Oldbury, B69 3BU / Connor Road, West Bromwich, B71 3DJ
