In this role, you will manage the execution of critical projects and initiatives within the Environment Portfolio that directly improve our environmental sustainability capabilities and performance across the organisation.

About the Role

As an Environment Project Manager, you will manage and execute a diverse range of projects focused on environmental sustainability within Group Operations. * Tracking progress, risks and issues, and taking action to keep projects on track.
* Leading project meetings and keeping key stakeholders informed and engaged.
* Facilitating retrospectives and post‑implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and refine future project delivery.
* Supporting the Environment Portfolio Manager and team with business‑as‑usual activities.

This position is a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to spend 40‑60% of their time collaborating and connecting face‑to‑face at their dedicated location. Aside from our hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long‑term health condition.

* Knowledge of project management principles and methods (e.g. PRINCE2, APMP or similar), or a willingness to work towards a formal qualification.

Desirable Criteria

* Experience working on environmental or sustainability related projects.
* Experience of project reporting, KPIs or portfolio governance.
* Experience working across global teams or complex organisational environments.

Rewards and Benefits

* 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Private medical and Permanent Health Insurance
* Discretionary annual bonus
* Group personal pension scheme
* Life assurance up to 4 x annual salary

The DC scheme's Offer of an Interview commitment applies to applicants who opt in, and disclose a disability or a long‑term health condition, and best meet the minimum criteria for the role.
