Restart Advisor (Self Employment)
Salary: £27,500 per annum & Company Benefits
Location: Bury
Office Based Role: Monday to Friday [9am-5pm]
Ingeus is currently looking for a Restart Advisor (Self Employment) for our Bury office. This pivotal role involves supporting participants who have been out of work for at least 6 months and are interested in exploring Self Employment opportunities, helping them establish or grow their Self Employment business.
The Restart Scheme is a specially designed program that provides participants who have been out of work for at least 9 months with intensive and tailored support to help them find sustained employment in their local area.
What you will be doing:
* Manage a caseload of participants, supporting and challenging them to progress towards Self Employment.
* Partner with participants to create comprehensive action plans to identify and remove barriers to Self Employment.
* Conduct assessments to evaluate job readiness and provide appropriate support to build confidence for sustained employment.
* Signpost participants to specialist organizations for specific Self Employment advice and make referrals as needed.
* Understand internal and external information, advice, and guidance related to general barriers and Self Employment-specific support such as tax, finance, and business plans.
* Ensure clients have access to workshops and tailored support, including health, mental health, transferable skills, job searching, CV writing, and interview skills.
You will require:
* Good knowledge of Self Employment and the challenges faced by participants.
* Ability to build effective relationships with participants to identify and overcome barriers to Self Employment.
* Assess participants to determine if Self Employment is suitable for them.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based programs.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities to achieve targets and KPIs in a busy environment.
* Knowledge of the local labour market and stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and listening skills.
