Health Care Assistant - CRC

Clinical Support Workers are required to work within the multidisciplinary team ensuring the department is a safe, clean and welcoming place for patients, visitors and staff.
The role will be working within the MDT to give 24 hour rehabilitation to patients with cognitive and physical deficits.
Main duties of the job
Day to day tasks will primarily include:
* Providing assistance with all aspects of daily living including assisting with washing & dressing, assisting with nutritional needs, toileting, completion of charts, documentation, empowering patients with their rehabilitation process/programme and communicate effectively within the MDT.

Person Specification
Qualifications, Specific Experience & Training
* A good standard of general education to GCSE level and the agreement to undertake the relevant L2 qualification on appointment
* Experience working in a clinical environment
* Experience working in the NHS
Knowledge and Skills
* Previous experience and training of manual handling patients using appropriate equipment
* Can demonstrate an understanding of the importance of promoting patient independence
* Able to provide support and reassurance to patients.
Personal Attributes
* Ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* A positive attitude and ability to act on feedback
* Polite, friendly, approachable and self-motivated
