I am recruiting for a long-standing client to recruit an interim HR Advisor. This is a temporary role to provide MAT cover within my client's largest team.This is a busy role, working in my client's largest business unit.This role is based in Maidenhead, but there will be some ad hoc travel to national sites UK wide. When you are not working in their fantastic office or travelling to sites, you will be able to work from home.
Your new role
1. Be responsible for providing expert advice on employee relations and management issues, as well as managing disciplinary and grievance cases
2. You'll also lead important HR processes such as recruitment,pensation planning, promotions and objective setting, in line with HR guidelines.
3. You'll be a key player in coordinating organisational changes to meet business needs, including restructures, outsourcing, relocation, job development opportunities, and mergers and acquisitions activity.
4. In addition, you'll ensure that managers are fully equipped to manage their own grievances, disciplinaries, performance and management processes, includingplex cases.
5. You'll also work closely with the HR Manager to forecast workforce demand and identify opportunities to improve performance through metric analysis.
6. Furthermore, you'll play a vital role in monitoring absence and managing long-term sickness cases.
7. You will have the exciting opportunity to see other sites and offices, so you will be willing to travel on an ad-hoc basis.
What you'll need to succeed
8. In-depth employment knowledge
9. Previous HR advisory experience
10. Knowledge of employee relations
11. Ideally have experience of working across multiple sites
12. Be able to work in a busy environment
