The Role As Project & Programme Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing and coordinating the successful delivery of projects and programmes within the Transformation Service. Working collaboratively with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Leading project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and managing risks and issues. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Contributing to the overall transformation agenda of the Council, identifying opportunities for service improvement and efficiency gains. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: Proven experience in project and programme management, ideally within a public sector or local government environment. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels. Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proactive and solution-focused, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
