Contract Type: Permanent – 37.5 Hours Per WeekDays of Work: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to SaturdayHours of Work: 02:00 to 10:00This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.Key Duties Include:* Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy * Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!) * Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time * Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently * Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment * Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly * Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives * Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift You'll Receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE Qualifications: What You Bring to the TeamThe Hustle: You’ve got a strong work ethic and love hitting targets.Team Player: You love working as part of a close knit supportive team Reliability: You show up and give it 100%.Values: You’re honest, respectful, and care about the service you provide.Physicality: You’re comfortable lifting and staying on your feet.DPD is a Disability Confident Employer and a member of the Valuable 500.
