A look into the role Henderson Wholesale is a leading Wholesaler in Northern Ireland and supplies goods to over 450 stores across various brands such as SPAR, EUROSPAR and VIVO. We source from local farmers, growers and producers and are proud to contribute to our local economy and environment. The Purpose of the Role: This role supports business data driven decisions by delivering effective QlikSense solutions. Youll play a key part in turning complex data into clear, actionable insights by building intuitive dashboards, refining data models, and enhancing our reporting capabilities to support both strategic priorities and day-to-day operations. Working as Data Analyst you will: Develop and maintain QlikSense applications, dashboards, and reports. Create QVD files for efficient data retrieval. Implement data modelling techniques (Normalised / Denormalised / Snowflake / Star Schema) Analyse user requirements: Design and develop interactive visualisations and charts/report outputs, enhancements and modifications. Apply set analysis and other advanced QlikSense functionalities. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and meet their data requirements. Manage User Acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation, ensuring strict systems governance, managing change, test plans and business sign-off. Co-ordinate and maintain technical documentation and ensure best practices in QlikSense development. Train end users as required. Lead problem resolution; resolving business issues by working with internal teams and cross-functional groups through problem resolution, strategic alignment, partnership development and continuous improvement Skills for Success Joining us as Data Analyst the minimum criteria youll need is: A minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience in Qlik Sense, Power BI, or Tableau or any other BI Related tool Experience contributing to digital transformation projects, including business process change and project delivery. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with large datasets using functions such as (VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, or Pivot Tables) Experience working in fast paced environments with the ability to meet strict deadlines The Attributes youll need include: A collaborative team player who thrives in shared working environments and values knowledge-sharing. Comfortable working independently or within a team, managing tasks with minimal supervision. Strong communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Creative problem-solver, passionate about innovation and continuous improvement. Capable of delivering high-quality work in fast-paced, dynamic environments while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. It is Desirable if you have: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience with web integration and advanced SQL techniques. This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
