\nEmployment law opportunity to join a Top 100 firm, offering varied, high-quality work, and the chance to grow without rigid billing targets.

\nThis opportunity sits within a friendly, well-respected employment team based in Cheltenham. The wider firm has a national presence and brings in over £60m annually, with the employment department contributing over £5m to that total. The Cheltenham team itself is a group of 8 lawyers, including two Partners, with strong connections to colleagues in London. It’s a genuinely collaborative environment; big enough to attract good work, small enough to feel like your contribution matters.

\nYour caseload will usually sit around 30 - 35 live matters at a time and will cover a broad mix of advisory and contentious issues. This includes everything from drafting employment contracts and advising on redundancies or restructures, to handling tribunal claims from early-stage strategy through to final hearings.
\nThere’s also regular involvement in transactional support (TUPE and employment-related warranties and indemnities) plus senior exit advice and occasional High Court work (though prior experience here isn’t essential).
