GI Group Recruitment are now seeking to appoint Counterbalance Forklift Operators to our reusable packaging client based in I-Port, Doncaster. Our client pride themselves on being an industry leader and sustainability pioneer. We're looking to speak with motivated & reliable candidates who want to develop with a business who are in a period of growth.
Working Hours:
12-hour shifts, 6-6, working a 4 on 4 off pattern.
Fixed day shift or night shift.
Pay Rate:
£12.44 to £13.62 p/h.
Duties/Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Loading & off-loading vehicles.
* Unloading goods from the racking ready to be loaded.
* Moving goods into the relevant bays.
* Ensuring that site Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures are followed.
* Contributing to a wider team effort to make every day a success.
Essential Skills Required:
* Full Counterbalance FLT licence refreshed in the last 3 years - In-house experience will also be considered if certificate can be provided.
* Must have operated a Counterbalance truck within the last 12 months and have a minimum of 1 year experience.
* Previous experience of working on a Double Handle Counterbalance truck would be beneficial but not essential.
* Must have a hands-on team attitude and be flexible towards all duties.
* Experience of loading & off-loading vehicles.
* Be competent at working alone or as part of a team.
* Must have reliable transport options due to shift patterns.
