Are you looking for a new opportunity: Do you work in Childcare and looking for a new opportunity? Do you have experience of working in a Daycare environment? Would you like to work in a Daycare establishment, which is integrated into a Primary School? Are you looking to develop your career within Daycare? Do you have good communication skills and are able to develop excellent relationships with children and adults?

We are looking for a Daycare Assistant to work with the Daycare Manager and Room Leaders to assist with the development and education of children attending the Daycare Centre. The successful candidate will be required to work 20 hours per week, term time only. You will assist in and contribute to providing a responsive, nurturing and stimulating environment for our children indoors and outdoors. The Daycare Centre is integrated into the Primary School which provides continuous nurture and education for our children. The Centre provides sessions for children 0-5 years and was rated as Outstanding by Ofsted in August 2022! This is initially a fixed term contract for 1 year with possible extension. Please note that interviews are scheduled for Tuesday 2nd December 2025.

We work in partnership with a geographic cluster group including a secondary and five primary schools. We are also working with individual schools on projects nationally and internationally.


The successful applicant will be:

* Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of relevant polices/codes of practice/legislation
* Professionally and emotionally intelligence
* Able to work as a team and develop excellent relationships with children, staff, parents and contractors
