We have an exciting opportunity for a inspirational, enthusiastic and creative Dance Teacher to join Taunton School, implementing a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum for students. The role will involve teaching Dance from EYFS through to Sixth Form, from beginners to those entering examinations, contributing fully to the co-curricular life of Performing Arts at Taunton School. Please note that we require the Dance Teacher to hold a Diploma in Dance.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for Dance, and an understanding that Dance is an essential aspect of Physical Education and Performing Arts playing a vital role in the holistic development of students.

This role is permanent, part time, and Term Time Only.
Hours of work are currently 18.5 hours per week which include Saturday mornings from 9am 12pm where a special Performing Arts Enrichment programme takes place. There is the potential opportunity to develop your own self-employed work through the delivery of 1:1 Dance lessons, providing further contact hours.
