Hays has the pleasure of working with a client based in Ross On Wye within the engineering sector. The client is looking for an Accounts Payable to join their team with good Accounts Payable experience and has some initiative and personality to bring to the team.
Your new role
* Maintaining accurate VAT records
* Reconciling supplier statements to our ledgers
* Creating weekly supplier payment runs
* Processing supplier payments
* Resolving supplier queries and ensuring ledgers are clean
* Monitoring accounts email inboxes and responding appropriately to queries
* Processing and payment of staff expenses
* Assist with month-end and year-end processes and audits
* Multi-currency, multi-company purchase invoice processing
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous Accounts Payable experience
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Articulate, numerate
* Be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical international audiences
* Attention to detail
* Self-starter
* Computer-literate
* Eagerness to learn
* Energy, flexibility, enthusiasm, persistence and commitment.
* The motivation to succeed and make a difference whilst performing in a pressured environment
