Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Class 4 & 7 MOT Tester to join our team at MDS Cars in Thorrington. This role is vital in ensuring our customers' vehicles meet safety standards and are roadworthy, reflecting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles in accordance with legal standards.
* Perform vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues.
* Use hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs and maintenance.
* Assist with vehicle servicing and repairs as needed.
* Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of tests and repairs.
* Support team members to deliver excellent customer service.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience as an MOT Tester or similar role.
* Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems.
* Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
* Ability to lift heavy objects safely.
* Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
* Good communication skills.
* Relevant certifications or licenses for MOT testing preferred.
* Experience in vehicle repairs desirable but not essential.
