Class 1 Driver Trunking - Bridgwater
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for our busy Bridgwater depot. The role consists of deliveries to NDCs, RDCs, and trunking work. MMID is part of a well-established and well-known international dairy company with a modern and well looked after fleet.
Immediate starts for the right candidate after a successful assessment.
Shifts and Start Times available:
* 22:00 - Tuesday - Friday
* 23:00 - Saturday - Tuesday
* 23:00 - Saturday - Tuesday
* 00:00 - 01:00, Friday - Monday
* 01:00 - 02:00, Saturday - Tuesday
* 02:00 - 03:00, Thursday - Sunday
* 05:00 - 04:00, Saturday - Tuesday
Day pay rates:
* Monday – Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
* Saturday £18.71
* Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95
Nights pay rates: (6pm – 4am) All hours worked outside these times are day rate
* Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
* Saturday £21.38
* Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:
* In date DIGI and CPC card
* Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
* Willing to work weekends.
* Motivated and open to learn new skills.
* Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role:
* Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
* Prepping vehicles for delivery.
* Completing vehicles checks.
* Refuelling vehicles.
* The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
