Kimbridge Barn, a rustic haven, is the perfect blend of a charming, cozy cafe and tea room with an award-winning wedding/events venue, set on the outskirts of Romsey.

We are renowned within the community for delivering events that bring people together with delicious food and warm, welcoming service. Our events range from weddings to outdoor cinemas, including our famous social events, where we transform the barn into a lively bar with a DJ and dancers!

To support our growth and achieve our ambitions, we are looking for a Deputy General Manager to join our team.


How we define success for a Sales & Operational Events Manager

* We seek a hands-on, sales-driven manager who will not only secure events but also plan and deliver on the day to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
* Provide every customer with a hearty, warm welcome and make them feel confident that choosing our venue is the best decision for their event.
* Understand customer barriers and help overcome them to convert inquiries into confirmed events.
* Be motivated to exceed targets and deliver success.
* Guide customers through the planning process, regardless of event size.
* Build rapport with guests, engaging beyond small talk to foster ongoing relationships.
* Make special occasions memorable by going the extra mile for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
* Collaborate with team members to create a joyful and positive environment for staff and customers alike.
* Pay attention to details, following service standards that bring order to a busy environment, and adding your positive style to create magic.
* The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales generation and conversion, incentivized by targets.
