💷 Pay Rate: £15 per hour 📅 Contract: Ongoing, part-time
Are you a qualified Level 3 Playworker who loves creating fun, safe, and engaging environments for children? 🌈
We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team supporting after-school provision in the Marple, Stockport area .
🌟 About the Role:
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality play opportunities and ensuring children have a positive, enriching experience after school. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll help plan, lead, and facilitate a wide range of play activities that encourage creativity, confidence, and social development.
🧩 Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver a variety of play-based activities suitable for primary-aged children
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive play environment
• Support children's emotional and social wellbeing
• Liaise with parents, carers, and school staff as required
• Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety policies at all times
🎓 Requirements:
• Level 3 qualification in Playwork (or equivalent in Childcare/Early Years)
• Experience working with children in a play or education setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
