Role Profile
Our client is an established nationwide manufacturing business. We are supporting their recruitment of a Production Manager. Reporting into the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the fabrication team, dealing with the end-to-end projects, including production & material planning, whilst ensuring the site is health and safety compliant.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide day to day leadership to the fabrication team, ensuring clear communication of goals & objectives
2. Production planning for the fabrication process, balancing changing customer needs and material availability
3. Drive a safety-first culture across the production facility, ensuring the operation is safe and compliant
4. Review and ensure KPI's are met.
5. Liaise and collaborate closely with other business functions including buying, logistics and sales.
Key Skills
6. Proven experience working in Production Management - specific background in stone, marble or granite is essential to be considered for this role
7. Strong production planning knowledge - including managing lead times, stock availability and resource planning
8. CAD/CAM experience would be highly desirable
9. Strong H&S knowledge, ideally with IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications
