Joining Woodgreen as part of our dynamic Retail team, you will help raise funds to enable our organization to support every pet to have a loving, caring home. You will be coming into the organization at an exciting time, with series seven of Channel 4's 'The Dog House' just finished airing - did we mention we're proud to be the set for this award-winning show?
As Assistant Shop Manager at our Kings Lynn Charity Shop, you will work as part of our shop management team, taking full responsibility in the Shop Manager's absence. Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining high standards of shop presentation, back-of-house operations, and customer service.
* Presenting and maintaining high standards of shop and window merchandising and visual layout.
* Recruiting, training, motivating, managing, and supporting volunteers.
* Ensuring maximum stock availability through processing donations.
* Handling compliance, record keeping, and cash management.
* Acting as a brand ambassador for Woodgreen to work with the local community to raise awareness and engagement.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary: £24,570 pro-rata per annum (£12.60/hour). Working patterns include either 13.5 hours/week (Monday and alternate Fridays/Saturdays) or 10.5 hours/week (Thursday and Sunday). There may be opportunities to provide cover for holidays or absences.
