Our parenting housing assessment service provides a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for families undergoing parenting assessments. We work in close partnership with mothers and their children to ensure that each family receives a fair,passionate, and evidence-based assessment.
The safety and welfare of the child are always paramount. While we support parents throughout the assessment process, our primary focus remains on the child’s wellbeing and long-term care planning.
Your new role
As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support to families. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each family receives individualised support tailored to their needs, abilities, and backgrounds.
1. Supporting parents in developing safe and effective parenting skills
2. Observing and recording parent-child interactions in line with assessment frameworks
3. Promoting a nurturing and structured environment that prioritises child safety
4. Working collaboratively with social workers, health professionals, and other agencies
5. Contributing to assessment planning through accurate, objective record-keeping
What you'll need to succeed
6. Experienced in working with vulnerable families, children, or within safeguarding settings
7. Able to maintain professional boundaries and work within a regulated framework
8. A strongmunicator with excellent observational and report-writing skills
9. Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
