My retained client is seeking a competent Head Chef who is motivated and a real passion for food. The ideal candidate will already have experience as a Head Chef or is a strong Sous Chef looking for their 1st Head Chef role. This popular gastro pub is set on the outskirts of a beautiful Suffolk town and is conveniently accessible from Ipswich and Woodbridge. This establishment has a 50 cover restaurant and a small outside seating area for the summer. They will be open for breakfast, lunch and early evening meals.
The restaurant serves seasonal food with great service, whilst retaining a traditional British menu. The style is traditional British cuisine with everything made in-house. The kitchen makes the most of the fresh local produce available with particular attention to food provenance, and are always busy.
As the successful Head Chef you will be responsible for all menu planning, stock taking and training. You must be passionate about your role and be willing to give 110%.
