We’re looking for a passionate and experienced HR leader to take ownership of our UK Human Resources function while playing a pivotal role in driving international HR strategy across our teams in Europe (Spain and the Netherlands) and the US. Responsibilities:
* Lead the full UK HR function – talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compliance, compensation & benefits, onboarding, and training.
* Coordinate HR activities internationally – support Spain, the Netherlands, and US teams to ensure compliance and alignment with global policies.
* Standardise and scale HR processes across regions, ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance frameworks.
* Support M&A integration, harmonising people processes and culture across acquired businesses.
* Advise and coach managers on people strategy, organisational design, and employee relations.
* Champion culture, engagement, and internal communications across international teams.
* Collaborate with legal, payroll, and HRIS partners to streamline operations.
* Localise and maintain HR documentation and employee handbooks for each country.
* Drive the implementation of global HR programs such as DEI, succession planning, and learning & development.
* Lead on the annual training calendar, fostering a culture of continuous development.
* Monitor and analyse HR metrics and KPIs to inform workforce planning and strategic decisions.
* Embed quality management principles into HR processes, ensuring adherence to ISO and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field (CIPD qualification preferred)
* 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership/managerial role
* Solid grasp of UK employment law; European or US HR compliance knowledge a plus
* Proven experience managing HR across multiple international regions
* Experience in scaling HR functions, especially in high-growth or transformation environments
* Comfortable working in regulated and quality-certified environments (e.g. ISO9001, ISO13485, MDSAP)
