A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Category Manager to join a growing retail business in the cosmetics sector. Based in Wakefield, this is a full‑time office‑based role offering a salary of £35,000 plus excellent benefits.
Our client, a well‑established and reputable business with over 15 years in the industry, has a strong e‑commerce presence and a reputation for partnering with premium skincare and beauty brands. This is a key role where you’ll be responsible for growing and managing supplier relationships and identifying new brand opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Manage and nurture relationships with existing beauty and skincare brands.
* Develop and implement brand‑specific plans to drive growth and market visibility.
* Analyse brand performance data and recommend strategies for improvement or removal.
* Collaborate with marketing, stock, and e‑commerce teams to support launches and promotions.
* Identify and negotiate with potential new brand partners, ensuring a successful onboarding process.
What Experience is Required
* Proven experience managing supplier or brand relationships within the retail sector.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, ideally within cosmetics or beauty.
* Ability to analyse data and develop strategic growth plans for product categories.
