The Building Services Engineer Role
As the Building Services Engineer/Handyman, you will be a key member of the Facilities team, assisting with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the company's premises. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and escorting contractors on site
* Attending to breakdowns and reactive calls
* Obtaining quotes for third-party work
* Assisting the Motor Transport Engineer and Electrician with various tasks
* Carrying out small to medium-sized projects, such as painting, basic plumbing, and joinery
What We're Looking For
The ideal Building Services Engineer/Handyman candidate will have a diverse skill set, including:
* Ability to work at height
* Fault-finding, rectification, and installation experience within a multi-skilled background
* Electrical bias (advantageous)
* Good all-round DIY skills
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Proficiency in working independently
* Computer literacy
* Full clean UK driving licence
