Salary and benefits: Up to £45,000 plus benefits

We’re looking for an Aviation Operations Manager to join a leading Tour Operator. This is a fabulous opportunity where the successful candidate will be responsible for all Aviation Projects, including building relationships with GDS providers, securing new deals, meeting targets, and driving our client's aviation business forward. The role involves liaising with existing e-sales customers, reservations, and airlines.
Previous experience in a similar role within the travel sector is essential, along with excellent worldwide airline and fares knowledge and a willingness to assist with out-of-hours cover. Our client offers a competitive salary up to £45k plus benefits.
This role is ideally fully office-based, but a hybrid working option may be considered.

Role of Aviation Operations Manager:
* Oversee the ticket department daily
* Ensure reservations team are updated with new fares, special fares, and routing changes by effective communication
* Assist with GDS relationship at the operational level
* Monitor competitor activity and airline pricing weekly
* Manage specialist fares including cruise fares, NDC, I.T fares, e-global, and corporate fares
* Manage ADM & ACM processes
* Coordinate airline training with the training department
* Manage relationships with e-sales customers regarding fares
* Analyze fares and airline info to promote deals
* Advise teams on disruptions and contingency plans
* Participate in OOH emergency line rota
