Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for a dedicated, hard-working, passionate individual to take on the role of SEN Teaching Assistant in & around the Vale of Glamorgan area. Role Duties: - Supporting the pupil on a 1:1 basis in the classroom and other day to day activities. - Create a safe, positive, fun environment in the classroom to instil confidence in the pupil. - Develop a working rapport with the student. - Find an effective way to deliver feedback for the student’s efforts. - Promote a child-led approach. - Deal with challenging behaviour and be comfortable removing the pupil from a potentially triggering environment. The role is focused in the CF63 area in a primary school setting. You will be working with a pupil with Autism. The working hours will be between Monday – Friday starting at 8:30am & finishing at 3:30pm.
