The Admissions Administrator (CAS and International Recruitment) role is based within the Admissions Service at GCU and will work closely with the Admissions Officers (CAS) and report to the Admissions Manager (CAS). This role will involve providing high level administrative support, advice and guidance to applicants in relation to the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) processes at GCU (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is one of the documents international applicants require to apply for a visa to study in the UK).
The main roles and responsibilities of this role include processing and recording deposit payments of successful applicants, providing advice and guidance to applicants, mailbox management, and maintaining and tracking documents relating to the UK Agent Quality Framework. The successful candidates will have an HNC or equivalent relevant experience, experience in working in a customer focused environment, experience working with information/customer relationship management systems in a higher education or commercial setting and experience of managing and organising shared mailboxes. Candidates will also be required to demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and being able to work as a team player.
A flexible approach will also be required for the above role, as work patterns will include some evening and weekend work required on occasion. Annual leave may be restricted at certain times of the year to accommodate peak business needs
