Role: Account Manager
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join a leading global freight and logistics organisation. This role involves managing a portfolio of 10-15 key client accounts, with a strong focus on developing long-term relationships, increasing account value, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You'll play a crucial role in supporting your clients' international logistics needs, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, distribution, supply chain optimisation, project logistics, and cutting-edge technology solutions.
While prior experience in freight and logistics is essential, you'll benefit from an intensive three-month training programme designed to equip you with in-depth knowledge of the company's systems, services, and client approach. The position is predominantly office-based, with regular client visits across the East Midlands region and the flexibility to work from home on occasion.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer-facing role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Strong commercial awareness and a strategic mindset, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers at various levels
- Full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel to client sites across the East Midlands region
Benefits:
· £35,000 - 50,000 basic per annum + huge additional yearly earnings
