An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a brand new state‑of‑the‑art care home opened in the Holt, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers.

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Responsibilities
* Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
* Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
* Contribute to care planning and coach support workers
* Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
* Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
* Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
* Be responsible for administering medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Have a genuine desire to care for others
* A good team player
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Proven experience of working in a care setting
The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £14.75 per hour with an annual salary of £27,612 per annum. This permanent full‑time role is for 36 hours a week on nights and includes the following generous benefits:
