Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon Location: Palmerston Vets, Buckhurst Hill Role Type: Permanent Hours: Full time, average 41.5 hours a week. 2 in 6 Saturday shift with 1 night per week on call for inpatients only. Salary: Starting from £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We are looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon with at least 3 years experience to join our wonderful team in East London! This role offers a great opportunity to work both as part of a multi-vet team at Buckhurst Hill, and sole charge (with the support of our fantastic nursing and client care team) at our lovely branch surgeries. We are very excited that all sites are currently undergoing a refresh, making this a great time to join! All our sites are well equipped for routine surgery and consults. Whilst the role will be split across our sites on occasions, we do welcome conversations from part time applicants at just one site. Inpatients are cared for on-site at Buckhurst Hill by the nursing team, offering fantastic continuity to patients and clients. OOH’s emergencies are covered by Forest Vets nearby, meaning the on call rota is for inpatient emergencies only and is very rare! We are very proud of our fantastic nursing team! We welcome discussions around part time hours at just one site. What we are looking for: Minimum 3 years post graduate experience. Confidence with routine surgery and consults The role is based at Buckhurst Hill but we are looking for someone who is able to flex to cover any of our 3 other sites where needed.
