Role Description
This is a remote role for a Business Development Manager based in England. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth. They will also be tasked with credit checks, analysing market trends, and working closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and to drive overall business success.
Candidates strictly need to have worked in the soft drink market, all applications with no experience in this industry will be automatically rejected.
As we are a soft drink distributor, a wealth of knowledge of this particular market will be essential for the role. The candidate will have to understand the current industry and be able to adapt to any future changes or challenges.
Skills:
* Strong business development, sales, and negotiation experience.
* Ability to analyze market trends and generate new business opportunities.
* Experience with client relationship management.
* Ability to work effectively independently.
* Proficiency with relevant business software and tools.
* Previous experience in the soft drink distribution industry is a necessity.
What we are looking for:
* A candidate who can bring a developed contact network and a portfolio of customers in the relevant industry.
* Knowledge of the market and general wholesale cash and carry's.
* Understanding of discount retailers accounts and residual stock.
* To be able to demonstrate past accounts and what they can bring to the business.
* Commercial and financial understanding to be able to see certain opportunities and negotiate as and when required.
