Description
The Commercial Industries and Access School at Kingston College seeks a professionally accredited registered psychotherapist and/or counsellor with a supervisor training certificate. The role involves teaching on our Level 4 Therapeutic Counselling Year 1 (Tuesday), Year 2 (Thursday), and our Degree programme (Friday).
You will be responsible for teaching, marking, and providing tutorial support for counselling courses. The role also includes participation in school activities such as selection days, interviews, and open events, which may occur outside regular hours.
Qualifications and Experience
* Professional qualification to practice in Integrative Relational counselling or Psychotherapy, or Children & Young People (minimum Level 6 Honours Degree).
* Practising member/registrant of BACP, UKCP, NCPS, or equivalent UK professional body.
* At least 3 years post-qualification experience and accreditation or willingness to obtain it.
* Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards it.
* Supervision qualification or experience in providing supervision in counselling or life coaching.
* At least one year of teaching counselling at Level 3 or above.
* Ability to assess student work and familiarity with national educational standards and professional body requirements.
Additional Information
The successful candidate may receive salary increases based on annual cost of living reviews. The role involves teaching across all levels from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours on variable contracts.
