What We Do / The Team
FXLM Operations Technology (Ops Tech) supports existing projects and a wide range of new projects, including back office applications, processing systems, risk management systems, and interfaces with multiple business applications. The Operations and Regulatory Technology function designs, develops, and supports client-facing and internal applications for Operations and Regulatory Technology to ensure seamless settlements, payments, accounting and regulatory reporting of trade events. The team works across FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, and Derivatives businesses, including trade processing and risk management, collaborating with Citi's business units.
Role Overview / What you will do
* Collaborate with stakeholders in Trading, Operations, Finance, Product Control, Technology and PMO to run meetings, gather and document business requirements
* Collaborate with stakeholders across business lines on transformation projects to understand business and processes
* Analyze current business processes and provide functional design inputs for technology solutions
* Create high-quality documentation for Business and Functional Requirements
* Manage traceability of requirements from BRD to Test Plans and results
* Analyze large data sets, create flow diagrams, and prepare high-level summaries and workflows
* Coordinate with development leads on enhancements and defects, and assist with troubleshooting
* Engage with software developers and testers to ensure quality delivery on time
Key Skills And Experience Required
* Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within a Investment/Global Bank in Foreign Exchange, Trade Processing or Risk Management
* Good understanding of front-to-back workflow for at least two asset classes (FX, FI, Money Market, Derivatives)
* Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
* Knowledge of FX Options, Bonds, and Rates is a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate requirements into precise functional/technical specifications
* Strong analytical skills; ability to create business analysis from scratch and troubleshoot data quality issues
