Role Overview
Due to business growth we are hiring a Class 2 Driver to join our logistics team. Our customers are Funeral Directors, and they are based throughout the UK. The role is to deliver our products as directed by your daily schedule. You will carry out between 7 to 15 drops per day which will involve manual handling, unloading the vehicle and completing company documents to reflect upon delivery being carried out. This is a single manned role. You will be our face-to-face representative and must have a passion for great customer service.
A good knowledge of paperwork and electronic devices / software would benefit the applicant, however full training will be given on our company processes.
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Knowledge and experience with multi drop deliveries of medium sized manufactured items.
* Vehicle knowledge to carry out daily checks and comply with legal requirements within your license category.
* Good communication and administration skills.
* Excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
* Physically fit due to the nature of the role you will carry out manual handling duties on a daily basis.
* A flexible can-do attitude to work.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years driving experience within a professional capacity.
* LGV Class 2 licence.
* Maximum 6 points on licence.
* Full DCPC qualification card and digital tachograph card.
* ADR license (Desirable).
