Working as part of the Health, Work & Wellbeing clinical team you will be participate in delivery of an efficient, effective, comprehensive, high quality Occupational Health service using evidence based Occupational Health.
To provide Occupational Health technician services including a defined range of tests and procedures under a level of clinical supervision for governance purposes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date occupational health records supporting and undertaking OH specific IT report and data management.
To support OH health care programmes and support audit and research activity as required. The post holder will be required to work across all areas of service.

Main duties of the job
* Follows standard procedures and guidelines to undertake pre-screening of pre-employment questionnaires, referring to Screening nurses and Senior Occupational Health Nurses where necessary
* Carry out venepuncture.
* Support with Health Surveillance Clinics.
* Participate in audits
* To work within clear pathways/Protocols and to liaise with Senior OH Practitioners where results are outside of agreed parameters.

* To report any problems and/or concerns related to or affecting your area of responsibility to senior the clinic lead nurse and in their absence the senior nurse.

* Handle and uses equipment and materials safely.
* Prepares examination rooms daily by replenishing supplies and cleaning equipment. Sets and clears trolleys for examinations.
* Maintain a working knowledge of relevant statutory codes of practice, guidance notes, departmental procedures, and Protocols.
* Report untoward incidents such as complaints, clinical emergencies, or injury to senior staff.
* Support and attend any off-site clinics as necessary to support the delivery of occupational health services.
