What the Job Involves The role of an Estates Surveyor involves managing and supporting estate management tasks for the council's properties. You will ensure internal controls, asset databases, and systems like the Asset Management Plan and GIS are up to date. Providing timely estates and valuation advice, you will assist in the development, management, and strategic planning of the Council's assets, ensuring optimal use and value extraction. Specific duties include managing lease renewals, rent reviews, property acquisitions and disposals, along with administering valuations and preparing reports for various stakeholders. You will also support the AMPS team, oversee budget management, and partake in policy formulation related to estates and valuation services.
