To cover maternity leave, we are seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will lead end-to-end recruitment across Hanson Wade Group’s conference, data, and central roles, partnering closely with hiring managers across the business to attract, assess, and onboard top talent at pace. This is a critical role, responsible for shaping and delivering our hiring strategy, leading the TA function, and ensuring an outstanding experience for both candidates and hiring managers. What You’ll Be Doing Talent Acquisition Strategy & Delivery Lead and deliver the organisation’s Talent Acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with wider HR, workforce and business priorities. Own recruitment plans and attraction strategies, balancing short-term hiring needs with longer-term workforce planning. Provide market insight, salary benchmarking, hiring trends and data-led recommendations to inform decision-making. Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership Lead, coach and develop the Talent Acquisition team as part of the wider HR function, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture. Partner closely with HR colleagues and senior business leaders on headcount planning, role scoping and hiring priorities. Act as a trusted subject-matter expert, providing guidance and challenge to ensure effective, fair and compliant hiring decisions. Deliver unconscious bias and interviewing training sessions to hiring managers across the business. End-to-End Hiring & Candidate Experience Oversee end-to-end recruitment activity across the business, including senior and specialist hires. Remain hands-on where required, supporting sourcing, screening and selection for priority roles. Oversee and manage Event Production recruitment. Ensure a consistent, inclusive and world-class candidate and hiring manager experience, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement. Diversity, Equity & Employer Brand Champion inclusive recruitment practices and embed fair, consistent selection processes across the organisation. Partner with HR to strengthen and promote the employer brand and employee value proposition. Internal Mobility, Systems & Reporting Own and manage internal mobility processes to support talent development, succession planning and retention. Provide regular recruitment analytics, insights and reporting to business leadership, using data to drive improvements in quality, efficiency and experience. What You’ll Bring Significant in‑house recruitment experience, ideally within a commercial, fast‑moving business. Proven experience leading a TA team and influencing senior stakeholders. Strong understanding of UK recruitment best practice and employment legislation. A data‑driven approach with the ability to identify trends and drive improvements. Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative, solutions‑focused mindset. Passion for inclusive hiring and embedding fair, consistent selection processes. Commercial awareness and ability to translate hiring needs into effective recruitment campaigns.
