Key location: Humber region (Hull, Immingham, Grimsby and Goole) with travel to all four ports. You will be based at Immingham or Hull.
Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver engineering projects within the Humber region, including CAPEX programmes up to £20m in civil engineering and structural sectors.
* Plan, execute, and ensure successful delivery of port infrastructure projects to improve operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
* Manage project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure regulatory, budgetary, and scheduling requirements are met.
* Integrate HSE considerations into day-to-day activity and into project plans.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
* Proven project management experience, ideally within port, maritime, or industrial infrastructure sectors.
* Strong understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental regulations in an engineering context.
* Proven track record of managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
* Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) or similar tools.
* Experience in port or maritime project settings is advantageous.
* PM certification (PRINCE2, APM) is advantageous.
* Basic knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) is advantageous.
* Understanding of sustainability practices in construction is advantageous.
