Dual Registered Manager
Location: Huyton, Liverpool
Salary: Up to £65,000
Here’s a great chance to shape and lead two solo children’s homes the right way; small, stable services that give space for proper relationships and long-term care. Both homes are up and running in Huyton, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
This role gives you the freedom to manage without interference, backed by an experienced, close-knit senior team who’ve actually worked in the job and still lead with their sleeves rolled up. You won’t be micromanaged, but you won’t be left out on a limb either. It’s leadership with proper support.
You’ll be managing two separate homes, each a solo placement, which means you can really focus on getting the culture right.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading two solo homes with a child-first mindset and grounded leadership
* Supporting staff day-to-day and building a team culture that holds steady under pressure
* Managing referrals, placements, audits, care plans, and all things Ofsted
* Working closely with professionals, families and therapists to keep care joined up
* Holding responsibility for safeguarding, development plans and home performance
* Balancing budgets, staff rotas and day-to-day operations across both homes
What we’re looking for:
* Experience as a Registered Manager in children’s residential care
* Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or close to finishing)
* Strong working knowledge of Children’s Homes Regs and Quality Standards
* A calm, values-led leadership style that can coach and hold people to account
* Confidence leading services through inspection and embedding real quality
* Driver with full UK manual licence
What’s on offer:
* Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
* Real autonomy to lead without constant red tape
* Strong team ethos built by people who know the work inside out
* Bespoke wellbeing offers like weekends away and personal support
* Space to lead, reflect and build something that lasts
This is a setup that puts people first; young people, and the people working with them. If you want to lead in a way that actually reflects what you believe care should be, this is that kind of role.
