As a Characterisation Technician you will help drive our goals by:
Principal accountabilities
* Preparing specimens and samples.
* Perform testing on innovative materials using modern testing techniques
* Recording and sometimes interpreting results to present to senior colleagues including summarized test data and procedures.
* Prepares and maintains proper testing documentation.
* Participate and contribute to problem-solving projects.
* Organising your own workload in collaboration of the scientists to make the most efficient use of the laboratory equipment and to meet customer tight deadlines.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
1. Proven experience working with some of the following techniques or equivalent; Gas sorption, Thermal and mechanical testing, optical microscopy, electronic microscopy
2. Computer literate MS Package and equipment software
3. Previous laboratory experience.
